The most important lesson I’ve learned working two years in customer service and small B2C sales is that respect and a genuine desire to help people meet their specific needs can pay off tremendously. Over the years I’ve come out of my introverted shell to grow in my interpersonal and communication skills. And while working and gaining valuable experience in my first technology job, I am seeking to transition into a B2B tech sales career. While taking an intensive online course specializing in technology sales development, I have learned the skills of prospecting, cold outreach, and sales methodologies including “SPIN” and “BANT.” I have also read the incredible books How to Win Friends and Influence People, Fanatical Prospecting, and SPIN Selling. I am seeking a Sales Development Representative role to hit the ground running with my strong work ethic, previous experience, and newfound skills to become a valuable asset to your sales team.
