About Kayleigh Smith
I’m a Creative Director focused on visual strategy and public-facing communications.I partner with strategists, earned media, and paid teams to develop the creative approach for campaigns, then lead visual direction and execution across social, digital, transit, and out-of-home. My work centers on translating complex ideas into clear, accessible creative that reaches broad audiences.Over the past 12+ years, I’ve built my career across photography, production, and creative leadership. I’ve led integrated campaigns for public affairs, advocacy, and civic initiatives reaching millions of people, including statewide policy efforts, national advocacy campaigns, and large-scale economic development projects. My role typically includes shaping creative strategy, directing teams and vendors, and guiding work from concept through launch.In my free time, I serve as the Co-Director of the New Leaders Council NYC chapter, where I oversee operations, communications, and programming to support and develop the next generation of civic and community leaders.Always open to conversations about creative strategy, progressive politics, and civic engagement.
