About Kayleigh Kerman
I am a third-year Marketing major with a Supply Chain Management collateral at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business, focusing on the professional sales track. I am also involved in the university’s Honors Program Business Fellows, an experience that has helped me strengthen my academic foundation and professional skills. On campus, I stay involved in roles that challenge me to lead, communicate, and support others. As the Professional Development Chair for Sigma Kappa, I organize career workshops, connect members with alumni, and help a large chapter take steps toward their professional goals. I also mentor new members as a Small Group Leader, which has helped me build strong relationships and create a welcoming environment within the chapter. Beyond Greek life, I am part of Business Fellows, Dream On 3, and Women of Haslam, each giving me different perspectives on teamwork, leadership, and community. My work experience as a lifeguard and camp counselor has shaped my ability to stay calm under pressure, take initiative, and communicate clearly with people of all ages. These roles taught me responsibility and problem-solving in real time, which has carried over into how I approach challenges in both academic and professional settings.I look forward to expanding my marketing and supply chain skills through practical, hands-on work beyond the classroom. I’m especially drawn to organizations that value collaboration, customer focus, and creating positive, lasting impact. I’m always open to connecting with new people and exploring opportunities that help me grow and contribute meaningfully.
