ABOUT KAYLEE THOMSEN
I am a recent graduate of Barnard College of Columbia University, where I received a B.A. in Neuroscience & Behavior and minor in Spanish and Latin American Cultures. I am especially interested in the field of neuro-oncology translational research and how to overcome the unique challenges of fighting cancer of the nervous system. I am currently researching medulloblastoma, the most common malignant pediatric brain tumor. I also am interested in the intersection between social justice and public health, which has led to a passion for service that promotes health equity.
