ABOUT KAYLEE BARNETTE
I am an Honors Carolina student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School with dual concentrations in Marketing (Sales Track) and Managing People and Organizations. I have also completed a minor in Music from the Kenan Music School. I am passionate about bridging creativity and business. That passion led me to found the Creative Business Movement—a Kenan-Flagler affiliate club that launched in 2024—where I serve as President and lead initiatives that empower students with non-traditional business interests in law, entrepreneurship, music, and media. During of Summer 2025, I put my creative and technical skills to use as a Sales Intern at Newell Brands, where I championed the integration of AI across our national sales teams. My long-term goal is to become a sales or entertainment executive, combining strategic thinking with creative leadership. Outside the classroom, I work as a freelance musician—writing, performing, marketing, and managing my own bookings. I’ve performed for audiences of up to and just finished writing my 101st original song!
