ABOUT KAYLA SCHARDIEN

As a Postdoctoral Fellow at Drexel University College of Medicine, I lead the scientific writing for high-impact publications and translate complex data into engaging content. My role encompasses collaboration with diverse research teams and external experts to enhance the clarity and dissemination of our research findings. My expertise in scientific communication is complemented by my experience as a Market Research Analyst, where I conducted market analysis to identify opportunities for advancing medical device and IVD development to treat and diagnose autoimmune diseases. The integration of my scientific knowledge with strategic market insights enables me to contribute to the Coulter-Drexel Translational Research Program’s mission of moving promising technologies into clinical practice. Through workshops on stakeholder engagement, FDA regulatory pathways, and reimbursement strategies, I\'ve honed my ability to align scientific communication with market needs. Our team\'s focus on emotional intelligence and creative problem-solving drives innovation in biomedical research, supporting my commitment to improving human healthcare. I am passionate about scientific communication and medical writing and am eager to apply my expertise to roles in medical affairs, market research/market access, medical/regulatory writing, or scientific consulting.
