About Kayla Ryan
I am a graduate from Indiana University with a B.S. in Community Health. I am currently attending Rush University. At Rush I am working towards my Master of Nursing degree and Clinical Nurse Leader certification. My academic and voluntary experiences have played a crucial role in confirming my decision to work in the healthcare field. Volunteering at St. Joseph Hospital and interning with Rock Steady Boxing and in the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Unit for IU Health have deepened my understanding of patient care, healthcare collaboration, and administration. These experiences have also taught me how to better work with patients with disabilities and progressive disorders, further sparking and highlighting the transformative power of empathy and dedication I have in healthcare.
