Consults, evaluates, directs, and monitors specific drug therapies upon physician request (total parental nutrition, heparin, argatroban, enoxaparin, aminoglycosides, vancomycin, patient controlled analgesia, and patient controlled antiemetics, etc). Provides education to patients and other healthcare staff. Perform distribution services in main pharmacy including unit dose and IV room. Ensure patient care is delivered and the unit is maintained in accordance with professional regulatory stands. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate population. Provides pharmaceutical services to the hospital\'s inpatients and outpatient. Compounds and dispenses pharmaceutical preparation and acts as a source of drug information to all members of the health care team. Projects an images of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures.
