ABOUT KAYLA VO
I’m a sophomore at the University of Michigan studying Public Policy at the Gerald R. Ford school with a focus on international human rights. Through my work in legal research, community advocacy, and policy engagement, I’ve developed a strong interest in how law and governance can be utilized both to protect and to perpetuate inequality within marginalized communities.I have particular interests in conflict-related sexual violence, labor and supply chain violations by multinational actors, restorative justice in post-conflict societies, and the ethical use of technology in governance. I hope to continue exploring how international law can address structural inequality and advance justice across different global contexts.
