About Kayla Maas

With over nine years of experience in the energy sector, I am a Strategy & Project Specialist at DTE Energy, where I lead the development and implementation of renewable energy solutions for the company\'s voluntary renewables program. I have a bachelors degree from the University of Michigan in Environmental and am pursuing a master\'s degree in business administration and management, which enable me to apply analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills to complex and dynamic challenges. I am passionate about environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and innovation, and I have contributed to multiple projects and initiatives that have improved the company\'s environmental performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Some of my achievements include receiving the Alex Dow Award, the Generator Award, the Environmental Excellence Award, as well as supporting the execution of the first and second largest clean energy purchases through a utility on record in the US. I enjoy networking and building relationships with diverse and talented professionals in the energy field. As a Strategy & Project Specialist, I aim to leverage my expertise and competencies to support DTE Energy\'s vision of being a force for growth and prosperity in the communities where we live and serve.
