About Kayla Loftus
I am a Chancellor\'s Honors and Haslam Business Fellows student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a collateral in Marketing. Throughout my time at the University of Tennessee, I have had the opportunity to serve as Kappa Delta’s Assistant Director of Scholarship, where I honed my analytical skills. In this role, I strengthened my analytical skills by creating academic plans for members on Academic Bad Standing, which required careful analysis of their study habits and coursework demands. Guiding members through personalized improvement strategies taught me to break academic challenges into manageable steps and communicate them clearly. I have also been able to enhance my problem-solving skills through my work at Good Circle Marketing. While leading a Good Circle Marketing project, I strengthened my problem-solving skills by designing a marketing plan that required analyzing company needs and determining the most effective promotional strategies. I am an aspiring wealth manager who is actively building the skills necessary to guide clients toward confident financial decisions. Through my Financial Management and Information Management courses, I’ve strengthened my analytical foundation by completing rigorous Excel projects that required me to solve business problems using tools such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF statements, and data modeling. These experiences have helped me understand how to handle different types of data. Additionally, my work with my Scholarship Roundtable and the Panhellenic Executive Board has deepened my ability to collaborate toward a shared purpose, mirroring the teamwork and trust required when partnering with clients to help them reach their long-term financial goals.
