I\'m a storyteller with a B.S. in Life Sciences Communication. For the past decade, I\'ve honed in on the realm of venture capital, helping VC firms raise their visibility and credibility.I spent seven years as the Marketing Manager at SOSV, a leading global deep tech VC firm, where I amplified the stories of startups and programs like IndieBio and HAX, reaching millions of people worldwide. I contributed to the firm\'s growth from approximately $300M AUM and a few hundred portfolio companies to over $1B AUM and over portfolio companies. I was honored to be part of a team that brought SOSV\'s name into the top of VC rankings and everyday conversations on deep tech.At SOSV, my dedication grew beyond external marketing and PR, as I became passionate about nurturing internal communications, developing resources, and planning community-building events to foster an environment where founders could thrive. Referred to as \"the glue\" between our programs around the world, I found that cultivating a strong community is the most powerful marketing tactic of all.Over the past three years, I have developed fractional marketing services for VC firms, sharing my expertise with emerging managers and partnering with over a dozen firms in the industry.You might recognize my voice from 89.9FM WORT, where I host a radio show every Saturday night at 10pm CT—with my main goal of spreading positive vibes to listeners. Fun fact: I am honored to be this year\'s winner of \"DJ of Year\" at the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Awards (WAMIs) and five-time winner of \"DJ of the Year\" at the Madison Area Music Awards.Outside of work and the studio, I\'m all about finding balance.
