ABOUT KAYLA BENJAMIN
Hey! My name is Kayla Benjamin and I am a junior at the University of Maryland pursuing a degree in Government & Politics and Criminology & Criminal Justice. My passion for serving the public was inspired by growing up in an underserved community whose needs were often overlooked. Growing up my parents, who immigrated from Trinidad and Tobago, worked tirelessly to provide for my family and to provide me with everything I needed to grow into a successful individual. They instilled in me the value of a quality education and the importance of giving back to others.Throughout my life, I have worked to give back to my community in every way that I could. I am interested in pursuing a career in public service, using my legal background to help provide services and resources to those in need. I want to be an advocate for change and fight to make sure all people get the representation they deserve in the criminal justice system. I’m always eager to connect with like-minded professionals and explore new opportunities. Whether you\'re looking to collaborate, share insights, or just network, feel free to reach out!
