ABOUT V. KAYE MONK-MORGAN

Dr. Kaye Monk-Morgan is the President & CEO for the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC), the center of excellence for civic leadership development and engagement. KLC is a non-profit organization “that fosters civic leadership for stronger, healthier, and more prosperous communities in Kansas and beyond.” Kaye leverages 30 years of experience as a higher education administrator in her work helping individuals, systems and communities see and solve some of their most challenging problems. An active community servant, Monk-Morgan has served on non-profit and corporate boards at the local, state, regional and national levels, including Emprise Bank, The Kansas African American Museum, NXTUS, the Ulrich Museum, KC United, And the Wichita Land Bank. She is also a life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Monk-Morgan is a first-generation college graduate and has earned multiple academic credentials including a Bachelor of Chemistry/Business, a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
