ABOUT KAYDEN GRAVES
Kayden Graves is a recent graduate of Howard University and currently serves as an Electrical Engineering Associate I at Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. She is a forward-thinking engineer with a strong foundation in research, innovation, and community engagement.During her time at Howard, Kayden conducted quantum computing–related research in collaboration with IBM, further strengthening her analytical and technical expertise. Beyond academics, she remained deeply committed to service and mentorship, volunteering with youth in underserved communities and serving as an ambassador for nonprofits such as Soul Trak. Through this work, she helped expand access to outdoor recreation opportunities, contributing to initiatives that sponsored 30 Howard students on an all-inclusive ski experience supported by partners including Arc\'teryx.Although new to the corporate engineering space, Kayden brings years of professional experience, having completed internships every summer since high school. She is passionate about hands-on engineering, emerging technologies, and scientific innovation. Looking ahead, she is especially interested in opportunities at the intersection of engineering and nontraditional industries—particularly fashion and entertainment—where technical expertise can drive creative and cultural impact
