About Kay Cunningham
My experience comes from library practice of all sorts: reference (specializing in business, science, social science, and government documents) in a large urban public library, special librarian for nursing, special librarian for medical research, electronic resources librarian for a large academic library, director of a library at a small private university. While I think of myself as primarily a reference librarian, I have worked in other specialties, including user instruction, staff training, collection development, cataloging, and systems. I\'ve worked closely with several ILS products-administering SydneyPlus and EOS Glas, and being part of a university implementation team for Millennium system, with particular responsibilities for the ERM; most recently, my library has implemented WMS.Specialties: databases, reference, research, bibliographic instruction, training, comics and graphic novels, collection development, management of electronic resources
