Kay Matin has served as President of AlphaSTAR since 1990 and proudly brings the designation of ‘woman-owned’ corporation to the high-tech engineering house. During her tenure, the company has evolved from an advanced Research & Development firm to a leading provider of software and engineering solutions for the global aerospace, automotive, department of defense, and energy sectors. Ms. Matin’s vision for the company continues to gain momentum as ASC maintains, fosters & grows key relationships in order to push the technological envelope for development of advanced methods & applications. As the rise of Additive Manufacturing across global industries continues an upward trajectory, AlphaSTAR now offers GENOA 3DP, an AM simulation suite, aimed at addressing challenges seen in 3D printing. With the support of DOD and tier one organizations, Ms. Matin has established an aggressive R&D agenda to develop, optimize, verify & validate toolsets that can meet the fast-paced needs of the marketplace. Under Ms. Matin’s direction, ASC has established partnerships with major solutions providers in the marketplace and continues to be diligent in providing solutions, which best serve customers across all industries. Ms. Matin received her Bachelor of Science from California State University, Fullerton.
