About Kavya Bhatia
Kavya Bhatia is a cybersecurity enthusiast currently working with the Gurugram Police Cyber Cell under the esteemed GPCSSI (Gurugram Police Cyber Security Summer Internship) program. Working under the mentorship of Dr. Rakshit Tandon (Cyber Security Evangelist) and the guidance of ACP Priyanshu Diwan (Gurugram Police), she is actively involved in cyber awareness initiatives, technical research, content development, and the development of tech-driven tools to assist cyber police teams in enhancing digital investigation and response capabilities. With a core focus now on Cybersecurity, Kavya is actively building her expertise in both technical implementation and strategic research. She is currently working on a cybersecurity research project aimed at addressing future risks in secure computing environments. Kavya\'s foundation lies in Web Development and Game Design, having developed several user-centric web platforms and a mental wellness-focused game during her internship at the Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Development (DRID), JIIT, aimed at helping differently-abled individuals. These experiences reflect her commitment to building ethical, inclusive, and impact-driven digital solutions. She has been actively conducting cyber safety sessions alongside law enforcement in schools, villages, and institutions, educating citizens on modern cybercrime threats such as financial scams, phishing, digital extortion, and online privacy violations. Her goal is to contribute to the national cybercrime prevention framework by leveraging both technical innovation and public awareness.
