About Kavon B.
As a third-year student, I am majoring in public policy and minoring in economics. I am passionate about appellate advocacy and complex federal government regulation. I have been on the dean\'s list for two consecutive semesters, demonstrating my academic excellence and dedication.I am interested in addressing budgetary, regulatory, and policy issues across the Executive and Legislative Branches of government. I aspire to become an attorney addressing these issues through my oral advocacy and brief writing skills. In addition, I have gained valuable Congressional experience as a legislative and policy intern for multiple Congress members, drafting messages and memos on regulatory matters across various sectors: tax, trade, healthcare, and fiscal policy. Additionally, I attended hearings, communicated with constituents, and drafted press releases, enhancing my analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Through my education, work, and extracurricular activities, I have developed a strong foundation in history, economics, law, and policy and a deep fervor for public service. Upon graduating from law school, I am eager to learn from and contribute to a thriving legal community.
