Lead study projects and act as a single point of contact for external contractorsAlign data quality and governance initiatives with business priorities and management goals Analyze data and processes to determine data lineage/lifecycle, data standards and rules, data ownership, data trust, and data quality and consistency Define data standards, policies and procedures Define business glossaries in consultation with subject matter experts Create data catalogs Lead initiatives to define, measure, monitor and improve data quality and consistency across business processes and systems Assess data quality; develop and support tools required to measure and monitor data quality Lead discussions and facilitation sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME) at all levels to develop consensus Develop and follow methodologies needed to improve data quality, consistency, and democratization Develop the necessary documentation and other collateral; manage team sites and portals Assist in defining strategy, roadmap and plans for improving data quality and governance across global R&D Develop strong working relationships and collaborate with colleagues at all levels Develop standards, guidelines, and best practices for R&D data quality and governance Assist with project planning and execution Lead internal and external resources as needed Create educational and informational material and other documentation as needed
