About Kavita Sah

With over 3 years of work experience in cyber security and network engineering, I am a passionate and skilled Cyber Security Engineer at ExtraHop, a leading provider of network detection and response solutions. In my current role, I conduct threat research and develop indicators of compromise for various attack scenarios, leveraging my expertise in networking, and security. I also collaborate with teams to enhance the security features and capabilities of the ExtraHop platform. Previously, I was a teaching assistant for discrete mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information, where I completed my master\'s degree in security. I also worked as a research assistant at the CyREN Lab, where I explored various topics in cyber security, such as Honeypots. I have multiple certifications in security testing CCNA and CCNP switching. I am motivated by the mission of improving the security and resilience of networks and systems, and I enjoy learning new skills and technologies in this dynamic and evolving field.
