ABOUT KAVITA MAHESHWARI

Kavita Maheshwari is leading the iron ore export sales of Vedanta Sesa Goa from India and Liberia to global markets including Europe, Middle East & APAC.She is also working closely with the founder on most matters of strategic importance & performance management encompassing corporate strategy, business excellence, competition analysis, critical benchmarking etc. The core of the role is to complement the promoter in day-to-day work and act as a force multiplier to drive massive impact goals, besides leading the annual business planning exercise for group companies & conducting progress check. In her previous role as Deputy Director -Common Commodities at Vedanta Ltd she was responsible for Group procurement of Coal (Thermal coal & Coking Coal) & Fuel commodities. She led the end to end contracting of these commodities for group & drove strategic initiatives adding significant business value and reducing the carbon footprint.She has also worked as Business Analyst -Group CEO\'s Office at Vedanta Ltd. she was responsible for MIS, Business Analytics, Business development strategy, Internal stakeholder management and enabling fact-based decision making while working closely with CXOs.She joined Cairn Oil & Gas-Vertical of Vedanta as Graduate Engineer Trainee in Jul\'2017. For 3.5 years she worked on projects involving Cost Optimization, Process Optimization, Operations Planning, and Process data analysis.She received Master\'s Degree from in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2017.She is passionate about Teaching and Dancing. She has also directed various intra-collegiate plays.
