About Kavish Sheth

A career in the legal services industry is something I am passionate about. I am a zealous lawyer always ready to help out my clients by providing legal advice and helping them with their problems related to commercial litigation, dispute resolution and insolvency laws. My greatest strength is finding solutions to the dynamic range of legal queries and drafting commercial contracts and agreements for my clients. My skills include-*Drafting notices, rejoinders, contracts, and other applications under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Contracts Laws, Arbitration and Conciliation Act amongst others *Research case laws and other queries related to corporate laws, commercial transactions and arbitration *Due Diligence for clients *Communication Skills I am currently working with a law firm in Jaipur, where I have been drafting various contracts, plaints, legal notices, agreements and briefs for clients. I am regularly assisting counsels in proceedings in the Jaipur District and Sessions Court, Rajasthan High Court and various other tribunals which have helped me nurture my skills in litigation and get familiarized with the court decorum. My experience of practising as an Advocate has also been useful in cultivating my oral and written communications skills. I have a keen interest in the field of IBC, dispute resolution, arbitration and commercial litigation. My undergraduate dissertation was based on insolvency and bankruptcy code and was titled “Critical Analysis of Fast Track Resolution Process for Non-Performing Assets- a Comparative Study”. During on of internships at Welspun Corp. Mumbai, I had submitted a project titled “Non Performing Assets resolution under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code-Need for a Fast Track Process”. Along with that, at my internships at Khaitan & Co. and Dua Associates, I honed my skills in research and drafting with respect to IBC and company laws. Debating and theatre was something which was I enjoyed as an extra curriculum activity and have participated in various plays and debate competitions. I was the Principle Secretary of the Debating Society at my college. These skills has helped me nurture my communication skills and helped me organise my thoughts. Apart from being a lawyer, I also have a keen interest in sports and music. I play tennis and football and am comfortable with tabla and drums. I was part of the school orchestra and have also performed at National Centre for Performing Arts, Mumbai and various other events and competitions. I was also the Indian Music Captain at my school.
