Environmental & Sustainability Specialist with half a decade of expertise operating at the critical intersection of nature, people, and policy. My work is dedicated to designing equitable and climate-resilient solutions, grounded in robust science, spatial data, and—most importantly—community voices. My expertise spans environmental research, geospatial analysis, and ecosystem services assessment, which I leverage to translate complex ecological evidence into actionable policy insights and on-ground outcomes. I have a deep thematic focus on climate change, conservation, and community resilience, particularly within vital forest landscapes and for forest-fringe communities. My journey combines academic rigour from premier institutions like IWST, EMPRI, and Bangalore University with direct, impactful implementation. Currently, as the District Coordinator for the NARI-KILP program under the Government of Karnataka\'s KSRLM, I am part of efforts to build gender-equitable, ecologically sustainable, and climate-resilient livelihoods for extremely vulnerable households. This role crystallises my mission: to integrate scientific understanding with grassroots realities, ensuring that sustainability is both inclusive and resilient. I am passionate about fostering systems where environmental health and human well-being advance together, creating futures that are just and sustainable for both people and the planet.
