Kavitsu is one of the leading manufacturer of Planetary and Helical gear drives required by Sugar industry. We have developed Mill drives required for Sugar as well as cement and steel industry upto 1500 HP and the range will soon be extended to HP. Crystallizers to suit MT tank capacity are successfully running in Thailand for past 2 seasons. We are soon extending our range to Worm gear boxes so as to suit certain applications where space is a constraint. Currently in development are Wind turbine gearboxes to suit 1500 KW wind mills as well as marine duty gear drives. My position in Kavitsu Transmissions is as follows:1. Managing the marketing department. It includes getting in touch with domestic as well as International clients.2. Looking after the Production department. It includes cross checking components to maintain high standards, which in turn increases the reliability of the gear drives. We hardly had any failures for last 2 years.3. Social media engagements. Its the need of the hour. Promoting web pages, brand building, socializing, attending various events.
