Since last 17 years I am working with Reliance Industries Limited, Jamnagar and have worked in various capacities at its Petroleum Refining Division- Since last 4 years I am working as a Safety Manager and am responsible for developing and executing health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines, preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety, evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law of the land. Carry out effective Risk Assessments for injury prevention and continuous production, Develop a Safety culture by conducting motivational programs and face to face interactions with the contract workers and continuously monitoring their activities- Before my role as a Safety Manager, I worked for 6 years as an Electrical Maintenance Manager and was responsible for scheduling and conducting periodic maintenance activities on all electrical equipments and installations, resolve the breakdowns by effective troubleshooting to minimize the down time, to ensure healthiness of all the electrical assets. recommend installation / replacement of new components to prevent premature failures and production loss, create a safe working environment for the co-workers by adopting inherently safer tools and developing the safe operating and maintenance procedures.
