About Kaushika Balaji
Hi, I\'m Kaushika, a Master of Engineering Management graduate student at Dartmouth College, passionate about building products that simplify complexity and deliver measurable impact. This summer, I am working as a Technical Product Manager Intern at OpenLaw, where I drove the 0→1 build of a client–attorney marketplace MVP, from problem framing and PRD writing to prototyping and cross-functional execution. The high-impact modules included Prospect Client workflows, Firm Profiles, and attorney marketplace modules, enabling faster client–attorney connections and improving adoption across the platform. Before Dartmouth, I spent 3.5 years at Schneider Electric R&D in the Software Interoperability team, where I handled delivery of 12+ SaaS products post-validation. I worked end-to-end on product readiness: validating software–hardware interoperability, coordinating with global teams, and ensuring release quality. I also introduced process improvements such as transitioning manual test cases into JIRA for faster feedback cycles, and contributed to a cybersecurity model demoed at an industry event, blending technical depth with business impact. Beyond the technical, I’ve always embraced opportunities to grow as a well-rounded leader. From growing up across six different cities to performing hip hop on an international stage, serving as Vice President at AIESEC, and competing in swimming and badminton at the district level. I’ve learned to thrive in dynamic environments, multitask effectively, lead with empathy and most importantly make sure that I am having fun while doing all these! What excites me most is the intersection of technology, design, and human behavior. I love uncovering user pain points, experimenting with solutions, and driving execution across stakeholders to bring ideas to life. I’m actively pursuing Product Management roles in SaaS, AI, and emerging technologies, opportunities where I can combine technical rigor, data-driven decision making, and people-centered leadership to build products that matter. Let’s connect if you’re building at the intersection of innovation, impact, and scale:)
