Supervise and Motivate Painting-Project team sufficient to direct them towards the timely completion of assigned task and projects.− Monitoring the quality of all painted steel, ensuring that all painting operatives adhere to procedures for all activities and that painting work is carried out in accordance with the agreed site-specific method statement. − Ensure and follow all rules and regulation necessary for Surface preparation and coating application required for Nuclear Power plant. − Carrying out regular quality control audits at sub-contract treatment facilities and conduct coatings inspections on/ off-site. − Producing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) which are used to identify each step of a painting procedure and the level of scrutiny required to ensure ‘right first time’ completion. − Facilitate the sign off of ITPs by all relevant parties to acknowledge the completion and retain the evidence for Life Time Records and method statements to cover coatings activities.− Checking the works are Constructed in accordance with the contract and notify the construction superintendent on non-conformance request requirements.− Submitting details of any Non-conformance request requirements to assist in the issuing of non-conformance reports.− Identify potential Quality issues before them arrive to enable mitigating actions.− Supporting team instructions to take temporary measure to mitigate and keep works safe and within Quality standards. Following up by taking appropriate and proportionate actions like issuing communications, calling meeting to prevent the half of works.− Ensure design decisions are not taken in the Field or Contractors, but are considered and approved via a formal process.− Developing and maintaining an understanding of construction/Fabrication Activities and Drawings, Quality control plans and Quality Inspections records.− Ensuring and that Quality Inspections records are taken and agreed before works are covered up.
