ABOUT KAUSHIK IYER
As a Mechanical Engineering student, I have cultivated a strong foundation in core engineering concepts such as thermodynamics and engineering dynamics. My internship at L&T Precision Engineering and Systems honed my technical skills, where I contributed to the design and troubleshooting of a waterjet propulsion system, and collaborated in the design calculations for a pneumatic launcher. My proficiency with tools like Fusion 360 and CATIA allowed me to bring ideas to life effectively while developing strong problem-solving abilities.I thrive in collaborative environments, leading group projects like the CAD model for a lathe tailstock and building a quadcopter drone in just four days for payload deployment. My experience has taught me the importance of adaptability, communication, and teamwork, which I actively bring into every project. While I am continuously learning finite element methods (FEM) and design for manufacturing (DFM), my eagerness to grow and contribute to innovative solutions makes me excited to take on new challenges in mechanical engineering.
