I’m looking after Slitting lines & cut to length line as a Assistant Manager-Operation. The key accountabilities being-• Monitoring day’s performance against planned targets including production, quality, cost & safety.• Ensure proper root cause analysis for deviation in productivity, quality & safety. Preparing & implementing action plan for the same.• Implementation of new policies and systems change to maximize production with less effort.• Manpower planning and assigning job responsibilities to individuals.• Tooling management by Indenting, quotation comparing and incoming inspection of tools/material. • Keep an eye to control process cost and power consumption within budgeted norms.• Customer visits as necessary & analysis of complaints and take action according CAPA.• Preparing of monthly/weekly MIS (i.e. store consumption, power consumption, yield report, variance report, delay report etc.) and present same to management.• Yield improvement through Juran Quality Improvement technique.• Deploying TPM, Quality Circle, 5S, & QMS plans on shop floor.
