About Kausha Simpson

Dr. Simpson\'s career spans various Fortune 100 companies in the automotive, technology, hospitality, and aerospace industries. Simpson designed and implemented digital transformation for Mercedes-Benz USA Strategic Retail Development. The focus of the transformation was business process management and data migration from a legacy IBM Mainframe to an AWS landscape. Simpson also served as a technical lead and product owner for Hewlett Packard Enterprise Global Supply Chain Systems (GSCS). Her role with the technology company entailed the design and implementation of big data strategies for enterprise supply chain operations within Hortonworks Data Platform and SAP HANA ecosystems. She hosted the GSCS knowledge management program for the HP/HPE/DXC mergers and divestitures.In 2014, Simpson earned her doctorate in industrial and systems engineering with a focus on operations research in healthcare supply chain systems. Prior to graduating with honors, she was invited to present for Women in Industrial Engineering Academia by the National Science Foundation. Her graduate studies were fully funded and she obtained several awards including the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Fellows Scholarship, the Claire Booth Luce Merit Fellowship, and the Wadaran L. Kennedy Scholars Award for earning a 4.0 GPA.
