ABOUT KAUSH RAKHIT
Founder and Executive Chairman of Canadian Discovery Ltd, a Calgary based Data and Upstream Oil and Gas Analytics provider. A consummate entrepreneur, I have founded or co-founded E&P companies, geoscience and environmental consulting and technology businesses. I began my career after finishing graduate school by starting Rakhit Petroleum Consulting Ltd. in 1990, a firm that specialized in hydrodynamics, basin modeling and integrated geoscientific studies in North and South America, Europe and Africa. Rakhit Petroleum purchased and merged with Canadian Discovery in 2004. I am a founding director of multiple E&P companies, most notably Seven Generations Energy Ltd, Matrix Solutions Inc. and Kiwetinohk Resources Corp. Currently on the board of Matrix, Kiwetinohk, Plankk Technologies and the Advisory Board of Northbridge Capital. I received a BSc in Earth Sciences from the University of Waterloo (1983) and an MSc in Petroleum Hydrogeology from the University of Alberta (1987). He is a Professional Geologist an active member of APEGA and holds an ICD.D designation.
