Reporting Sections include ITSS (Help Desk Service), Business Applications (SAP, Oracle EPBCS etc.), TMC (drilling & exploration Apps), IT Governance, Telecommunications & Infrastructure & Networks. The state-of-the-art services being provided to clients include, but not limited to; · Developed & implemented IT Strategic plans (Operations, Infrastructure, Apps & mobile & Cloud technologies) that brought modernization and reduced overall cost of operations by 25% and received the award of ‘Best Department of the company’ for 2017-18. · Successfully implemented cloud-based solutions and as part of Digital Transformation initiative, including; Oracle EPBCS (budgeting system), SAP Success Factor, Tejari e-Procurement, Remedy, Velocity EHS, ECM (Enterprise Content Management – using SharePoint Online), QlikView BI tools for Dashboards. · Successfully implemented real-time reporting system, Avocet that enabled the management to see view critical data from the wells and field locations. · Directing the team in the design and build up phase to ensure best practice is implemented and oversee good documentation and application infrastructure build. · Successfully upgraded SAP Oracle Data Base to HANA DB. · Automation of critical business functions through SAP ECC 6.0. Currently planning for SAP S/4. · Planned and established a tier 3, TIA 942 based Data Center / DR site at Islamabad office to serve as backup and Hot Disaster Recovery site for all PPL locations. · Implemented IT Security policies & Standards within Data Centres & company environment (ISO 27001 & ITIL) to adhere with the best industry practices. · Optimizing Data Centre operations to reduce the Infrastructure footprint with increased security and monitoring. · Close Audit / ERM findings / recommendations on timely basis.
