ABOUT KAUSALYA GOPALAKRISHNAN
Clinical genomics professional with over 10 years of experience in this field. My key areas include oncology and infectious diseases genomics diagnostics and research, precision medicine and personalized genomics, product development for oncology diagnostics, patient data handling, medical science liaison to HCPs and project clients, NGS data analysis, bioinformatics pipeline development, LIMS requirements consultant, and new panel development support by providing expert opinions in market requirement and latest guidelines. I have been a team lead for more than 2 years and handled various research and clinical projects from end to end (ie. from panel selection to data summarization and presentation). My accomplishments include the successful development and launch of 4 new diagnostic tests for hemato-oncology genomics, sales team training, and clinical sample handling for more than 15 clinical diagnostic panels for hemato-oncology. I have successfully completed 2 international CAP audits for oncology genomics with no major NCs, and have played a key role in succeding in more than 60 cycles of EQAS programs (National and International). My role as an MSL included responding to queries from clinicians and HCPs and medical communities for all hemato-oncology related tests for clinical operation, initiation of project proposals, and management of ongoing projects in hemato-oncology.
