ABOUT RAMNEEK KAUR

I currently work as a Senior in Valuations, Modelling and Economics (VME) team at Ernst and Young (EY). My core responsibilities include business valuations, impairment testing and purchase price allocations. Previously I used to provide valuation and advisory related services to clients dealing in 409A/Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOPs) valuations. I have over four years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on valuation, economic analysis, and technical accounting. I have a strong academic background in finance and financial management, having completed my MSc in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University, where I learned subjects such as financial modelling, valuations, equity analysis, portfolio management, private equity, and quantitative methods. I also hold certifications in spreadsheets, quantitative modelling, and visualization with Tableau from Coursera. Prior I handled valuation projects for high growth startups and leading emerging companies across numerous industries at Ernst and Young and NVS Analytics in India. I also helped early stage startups raise funds from Startup Angels Network and worked in the tax domain at Bain and Company. I am a hard-working, diligent, and responsible team-member who can learn quickly about new industries and markets. I am passionate about the financial sector and eager to apply my skills and knowledge to help clients achieve their valuation and advisory goals.
