I’m a business development professional who has moved seamlessly into operations and is loving every second of being in a role which allows me to play to all of my strengths. What I liked and excelled at in sales; relationship building, communication and strategic thinking, is serving me well in operations - the only difference now is that my customers are internal and instead of closing, I’m collaborating. I love the weight of responsibility and seeing the impact of my hard work and effort on the bottom line. Working at the heart of an organization, seeing all of the angles as well as the big picture is incredibly satisfying, I’m glad to have found my niche. Patriot Environmental certainly think so - I’ve been promoted twice in the last 2 years, going from Project Coordinator, to Customer Service Supervisor, to Regional Field Administrative Manager, and now Field Production Manager. I’ve overseen the expansion from 1 to 4 branches throughout Southern California. I’ve transformed the Administrative Department into a highly efficient, supremely customer-focused, machine. I’ve proactively sought ways to increase efficiency and lower costs by working closely with the sales and accounting departments, making us leaner, more responsive and more productive as a whole. Leading a team, making sure everyone is bringing their ‘A’ game, leading by example, it’s not rocket science but I do have a sky-is-the-limit ambition and trajectory. I’m volunteering for everything and absorbing as much as I can, I want more responsibility, I want to learn more, lead bigger teams and truly make a dent.
