Analyzes and monitors LeadingAge\'s policies, national policy initiatives and strategies on home care and hospice services through work with LeadingAge internal staff and home care and hospice members- Contributes to the LeadingAge Policy Process including engaging with members and drafting policy priorities that respond to current challenges and are forward looking and strategic- Tracks and analyzes national regulation and sub-regulation related to home care and hospice for impact on LeadingAge members- Through ongoing engagement with LeadingAge State Partnerships team and state executives and home care and hospice members, identifies trends and top issues faced by these providers and creates proactive strategies and products, meetings, work groups, toolkits, briefs and other materials to address these needs and support members- Provides operational assistance to members navigating payment issues, compliance, quality reporting programs, policy, and process changes of federal agencies- Responds to member inquiries and requests for technical assistance, including linking members to others with similar issues and solutions- Develops and presents educational programs, resources and up to date materials that inform members about pertinent regulatory changes, policies or updates related to home care and hospice- Establishes and maintains high visibility and good working relationships with relevant federal officials and staffs, including administrative and federal agencies as well as coalitions of national organizations representing home care and hospice- Works across LeadingAge to integrate home care and hospice with other facets of aging services.
