About Katy Senia

I\'m an HR professional turned software developer. I believe that life is all about curiosity and exploration, and that the real satisfaction in life comes from creating something from nothing and making the intentional choice to solve problems rather than fear the unknown. In 2021, I dove head first into software and enrolled in Nucamp’s coding bootcamp. Over the course of 11 months, I lived and breathed the world of backend development, with Python and DevOps, and full-stack development in JavaScript, Bootstrap, React, React Native and Node.js. It was a wild ride fueled by the realization that we have the power to solve so many problems with just the thirst for knowledge, the right tools and the determination to progress forward. Having recently completed my Bachelor\'s in Software Engineering, specializing in C#, my main interests have evolved to focus on the.NET and ASP.NET Core ecosystem as well as front end development in React, TypeScript and Next.js. I\'m constantly amazed by the possibilities of what can be created when great minds work together. I\'m excited to continue exploring and to see how far we can push the boundaries of technology forward - always with an eye towards creating that which is ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible.When I\'m not busy tinkering with code or hitting the trails, you can find me with my two Corgis or in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere designing album artwork and canvas visuals for my musician spouse.
