Veeva Systems (VEEV) is a cloud service provider for the global life sciences industry with more than 1,100 customers including major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies like GSK, Bayer, Eli Lilly, Gilead Sciences and Merck. Lead designer for platform and application features and new products Led key areas of a platform wide redesign with extremely tight deadlines and a large, cross-functional team of over 100 people Lead designer for Quality & Manufacturing applications which includes over 300 companies with 13 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in the customer base Original and lead designer for a Quality Training application, to ensure job and role based readiness for users in the highly regulated life sciences industry. In the first year, 100 customers adopted the application and there are currently over individual users Designed an Android and iOS mobile application for users in a quality manufacturing environment, working in tight conjunction with large customers in Asia Conducts usability testing. Responsible for creating the prototypes, test scripts and execution and presenting the results of the testing Creates and manages design tools to help others adhere to the design system, including a very robust Sketch sticker sheet with components and pages Educates teams across the organization on design tools and the design system Responsible for creating and managing all iconography Mentors junior members of the team Prepares and presents designs across all levels of the organization up to Senior Leaders
