Working within Align JV, a joint venture of three international and privately-owned infrastructure companies. Align JV is in charge of C1 package of the UK High Speed 2 line (HS2).Responsibilities -• Working closely with the Skills, Employment and Education (SEE) manager, managing workexperience employees, summer placement trainees and apprentices and creating scheduledprogrammes for work experience.• Creating and implementing a networking program for all graduate employees within Align JV, withregular meetings to monitor progress, networking opportunities and training to develop crucial skills.• Creating job descriptions for vacancies, advertising them through Align JV’s recruitment system,JobAdder, shortlisting and conducting interviews with potential candidates.• Handling all administrative duties regarding employment cycle and employment changes, processing authority to appoint documentation and change forms as well as conducting background checks and eligibility of employment required by ACAS and UK government.• Managing absence, leave requests as well as timesheets for all employees on site.• Supporting with post-recruitment activities and ensuring the successful completion of all relevantdocuments.• Managing the onboarding cycle of new employees, from processing them on Biosite, to bookinginductions and collecting their right to work while following government guidelines, to inputting their data on Bamboo HR.• Acting as first point of contact for HR enquiries from employees.• Organizing employee files and maintaining accurate information on all employees.• Assisting the L&D manager with supporting and guiding apprenticesthroughout their studies and creating assessment tasks targeting specific areas for development.• Organising and conducting exit interviews with employees and gathering feedback to improve processes as well as processing leavers. • Supporting with disciplinary and investigative meetings and producing accurate notes.
