Hi, I’m Katya. I love helping people and organizations listen to their audiences, tell their stories, and engage with the world. I am a former college instructor, an entrepreneur who built and led my own small PR firm, and a communications professional with a track record of success in corporate and agency settings in four countries. In my current role at ETS, a global education and talent solutions organization, I lead external communications for the Education edtech portfolio. Our solutions are designed to 1 - combat teacher shortage in classrooms nationwide and 2 - help learners successfully transition from school to life and \"future-proof\" their careers. This includes- Praxis, a teacher licensure program and suite of solutions that help teachers enter, grow, and thrive in the profession- Futurenav Compass, an innovative career navigation platform that connects students’ skills and knowledge with real-world opportunitiesPreviously at ETS, I led communications for the ETS Research Institute, where translated complex research into accessible narratives on assessment innovation and the responsible use of AI.
