About Katya Grokhovsky

Based in New York, Ukrainian born, interdisciplinary artist and educator Katya Grokhovsky works in installation, sculpture, video, photo, performance, fiber, drawing and painting. She has an MFA (2011) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, USA, a BFA (2007) from Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University, Australia and a BA (Honors, in Fashion from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. Grokhovsky is a recipient of numerous awards, fellowships and residencies, has exhibited her work extensively and has curated over 35 exhibitions and events.
