   Managing and growing all business aspects of Athletico Physical Therapy’s Plymouth, MI, location has been a highly rewarding mission for me these past three years. At my core, physical therapy care is directly tied to the building of meaningful relationships that subsequently raise up the local community, creating referrals and enhanced business image in the process. The successes of this focus are evident in the Plymouth location’s ability to have continued growing both in clients (grown each year and surpassed even pre-Covid numbers at respective location) and in staffing (have added another PT at location). Working with post-op patients as well as collegiate and high school athletes has provided a great foundation on which to add to the local culture while showing the validity of what we do as physical therapists. While working with sport-related, neurological, and geriatric injuries as an orthopedic outpatient therapist, the practice’s satisfaction rate and the functional outcomes of patients has seen marked improvement. Being a former high school and collegiate athlete has been instrumental in connecting with many of the patients who are seeking to return to past health levels and pursue an elevated physical ability.
