About Katy Lawlor

I’m a double major in psychology and design at UC Davis with an expected graduation in June of 2026 and am passionate about how creativity and human behavior intersect. With over two years of design experience, my work has been featured in several publications and across campus platforms, ranging from magazines to transportation services.Currently, I serve as Director of Marketing for InPrint magazine, Marketing Design Assistant for Unitrans, and Campus Manager for Depop. I am also co-founder and manager of @fashionofucd, a community-focused Instagram page showcasing campus fashion. Beyond design, I take on leadership roles that connect creativity with community impact—such as Social Director for Art for Elders, where students build connections with local elderly residents through art, and Health & Wellness Director for Alpha Phi, where I’ve strengthened my skills in communication, organization, and well-being advocacy.Originally from a small village in Ireland, I bring a unique cultural lens and global outlook to my work. My creative interests span fashion, interior, and industrial design, and I’m always eager to explore how design can inspire, connect, and inform. Whether I’m working digitally or through traditional art forms like pen, paint, and paper, I’m committed to combining creativity with community to make meaningful impact.
