ABOUT KATY HORNADAY

Hi. I\'m Katy, Chief Creative Officer at BarkleyOKRP, a 800-person, independent creative agency with offices in Kansas City, Chicago, Denver, Pittsburgh, Austin & NYC.I\'ve been at this agency for over a decade-and in that time, I\'ve learned how much I love the act of building something. We continue to swing for more, all while holding on to the soul of what makes this place special. In my role, I lead a team of nearly 200-made up of copywriters, art directors, designers, producers and filmmakers. For the little girl who always dreamed of being a \"Creative Director\", it\'s surreal I get to do this every day.Over the course of my career, I have been named a Future Lion, a Young Gun, one of the Business Insider\'s 30 Most Creative People in Advertising Under 30, one of Adweek\'s Creative 100, one of the 30 Most Creative Women in Advertising, and a Kansas City Business Journal Next Generation Leader. I\'ve won the all the awards and sat on the juries-but I still find the most gratifying part to be the people I get to do this with every day.One of my proudest achievements is leading the creation of our Barkley FUEL team, a group of now 80+ partners, who specialize in what fuels a Brand every single day (social, email, digital and beyond).
