About Katy al-Khalidi

I have close to 20 years of accounting experience, in both public accounting and private industry. In my current role, I help lead Clark Nuber\'s Real Estate and Hospitality practice. In this practice area, we typically work with investors, developers, property management companies, hotels and restaurants that are in need of assurance or consulting services. Areas of focus include audits of real estate companies and funds, HUD audits and historic projects. I also support our firm\'s advisory practice, advising clients on complex business transactions and GAAP compliant reporting. I serve on the AICPA\'s Technical Issues Committee, where I help bring the views and concerns of smaller firms to national standard setters. I am a board member of Historic Seattle, helping to fulfill my passion for preservation and sustainability. If you have any questions about financing historic rehabilitation projects, I am happy to help. I also spend a significant amount of time working on employee benefit plan audits, as well as a variety of other clients.Further, I lead our audit department\'s training program, ensuring our team members receive the technical training and professional development they need.
