ABOUT KATRIN R. FELDNER

I am a purchaser with heart and soul for over 27 years. I like to show my passion for purchasing when dealing with people in purchasing. Because my experience is that purchasing has made one of the biggest developments in corporate functions in the last 10 years. Due to the constantly growing developments, most of the problem areas are known here, people and processes that can no longer keep up with the development. I have experienced purchasing from the bottom up and have increased my purchasing expertise along the way with further studies in business administration and purchasing qualifications. Prior to becoming self-employed, I worked for 20 years in a permanent position in a production connection trade and the defense industry. My industry experience in interim projects is broad-based and ranges from the coal and steel industry to shipbuilding to medical technology and the electrical industry. As an experienced purchasing expert, I offer the necessary intuition to act on the right levers in interim projects. This can be the employees who are no longer able to keep up with the rapid development steps or processes that are not being tackled. I actively act at the interfaces of the departments and thus open new doors in the cooperation between purchasing and the respective departments. In addition, well-trodden paths with suppliers are openly and transparently questioned and alternatives are consistently addressed.\"Sacred cows\" and self-made monopolies are important starting points for me in change management in purchasing. As a highly demanded trainer and lecturer, I also offer the knowledge and know-how to the employees quasi incidentally. At the end of a project, teams grow together, a new purchasing motivation emerges and an open and transparent supplier communication is established.
