About Katrina Hill

I just Graduated in August from the Harbert College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management Major.I have always been intrigued by the business school and thought it would potentially be a good fit. After a brief detour in the school of architecture, I made the decision to switch to supply chain management. I have always loved art and embraced my creative side, but math and logical problem solving were areas of strength. That is why I initially chose Architecture, but after much consideration I couldn\'t leave behind the dynamic and fast paced environment that comes from a business education. I\'ve always been able to use logical thinking to advance me in my school work, but also my everyday life. It\'s a skill that will benefit me within my field, especially as it pertains to working in collaborative settings. I often pride myself on my ability to work well on a team. In my collegiate years I have become involved with an organization called Auburn University Dance Marathon. It is an organization that raises money for the Children Miracle Network, and specifically Piedmont Columbus Regional. This year, I am a director of morale; which means I must lead my own team. But more importantly, all of the teams within morale and AUDM must work together to fundraise and create the most impactful main event for our miracle families. Through this event I learn leadership, teamwork, and even skillsets such as event management.
