I build things—frameworks, systems, and teams that can thrive in calm and chaos-ish environments.Over 22 years, I’ve navigated both public and private sectors:* 14 years at the National Security Agency developing capabilities & leading technical intelligence operations (the kind I can’t talk about, but trust me, it was interesting)* A cybersecurity startup with a roster of leaders that read like a national security thriller* Amazon, where I fell in love with big data, AI, voice-forward tech, and their leadership principles* Now at Cloudera, where I’m focused on product security and building situationally-aware frameworks to help brilliant people execute their game-changing ideas (along with a few of my own)What I’m known for:* Translating between executives, legal counsel, customers, and deeply technical teams* Cutting through people-friction and politics to get to the right answer (even if it’s not mine)* Bringing humor and perspective to high-pressure moments (because literally no one is going to die)I’m passionate about problem-solving, learning new technologies, mentoring others, and making space for people’s best ideas. I also have a lifelong equestrian obsession, which has taught me a lot about leadership (turns out, you don’t “command” a lb animal—you partner with it).High track record of getting things done.
