ABOUT KATRINA TAGGART
Katrina Taggart is a freelance visual artist/ photographer/ arts tutor from County Tyrone, now based in Belfast. Katrina has been working in the creative sector locally for over 15 years. After graduating with a degree in Media and Cultural Studies, Katrina began her creative career as a newspaper staff photographer. Since then she has expanded into other areas within the creative sector locally to include leading art workshops, curating exhibitions and undertaking personal art projects. She has recently completed a Masters in Fine Art Photography in at the University of Ulster and created a body of work which documented Irish Pilgrimages. The themes of her work include a nostalgia for old Irish culture and traditions, the spirituality of Irish landscapes and the characters found living in them.
